This "debate" was dangerous for America. But it surely was worse for Trump

That sums it up:

"The main problem we find when we [women] ask what you want from a president is integrity, ”says [Sarah] Chamberlain. For this reason, she says that many suburban voters are rigid in moving away from Trump. "I think suburban women are pretty locked up right now," says Chamberlain.

Who is Sarah Chamberlain? She is the president and CEO from Main Street partnership, an organization that supports republican in Congress.

You are tired of bullying, harassment, sexism and racism, of its unending stream of lies.

What is Donald Trump doing in the debate?

He lied, displaying his racism like calling Senator Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" and refusing to refute white supremacism. He bullied and interrupted and raged and raved.

It is easy to get into the worrying substance of this debate. However, the debate is not a competition in its own right. It serves a broader purpose – to inform about the voting choices of the American electorate.

So, are you wondering whose opinion has this changed? Obviously, no liberal or conservative voter did it. The other side paraded around on Twitter, puffing up their chests, boasting that their guy was "the alpha" as if that played a prominent role in voting beyond the conservative, unfortunate base. We Liberals saw Trump confirm everything we thought of him.

But what about those white women with a swing suburban college education? Was any of them influenced by what they saw tonight?

Of course not!

And that's devastating for Trump. He lost nearly double digits nationally and in the major battlefield states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin solid deficits. He has to change the equation. He needs to regain the support he lost.

And he didn't even try.

Time is running out. Every day we are getting closer to election day. People are already voting. And Trump? He has just given up one of his last great opportunities to turn things around.

Democracy cried tonight, but at least we're one day closer to victory.
