On Sunday, CNN host Jake Tapper trained a top live television official from Joe Biden's campaign to defend the Democratic presidential candidate's recent false claim that Senate Republicans are violating the Constitution by replacing the Supreme Court with Amy Coney Barrett submitted.
Biden again dodged questions about the Supreme Court's packing on Saturday, saying "It's not constitutional what they do," referring to Republicans.
Tapper confronts Top Biden campaign officials
The next day, Tapper confronted Biden's assistant campaign manager, Kate Bedingfield, asking her what exactly was unconstitutional what Republicans are doing.
“[Biden] said it's not constitutional what they do. How is it not constitutional what they do?” Asked Tapper.

"His point is that people have the opportunity to weigh this constitutional process through their vote," Bedingfield replied. “And we are now in the middle of the elections. Millions of people have already cast their votes. "
"And you see the vast majority of people are saying they want the person who wins the November 3rd election to nominate the judiciary to take that seat," she added.
Tapper had none of it, however.

"It's a poll," he said bluntly. "That's not the constitution."
"So when you try – by trying – that's their constitution – there is the constitutional process of deliberation and approval," replied a clearly nervous Bedingfield. “The American people can have their say by voting for the president and the senators. We are now 23 days before the election. "
"Right, but it's not unconstitutional," the CNN host replied.
Bedingfield was not used to being so called on a liberal network like CNN and stammered that millions of "voters are denied their constitutional say in this process".

"You elected the Senate," said Tapper, giving her another lesson on the Constitution.
Bedingfield then said "most Americans strongly disagree" with Barrett's approval before the election, but Tapper closed it again.
"Again, Kate, this is a poll," said Tapper. "That's not what the word" constitutional "means. Constitutional doesn't mean I like it or I don't like it. It means that it complies with the US Constitution. There is nothing unconstitutional about what the US Senate says does. "
We don't agree with Tapper often, but it's nice to see him call a Biden officer once about the former Vice President's lies!
