Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) calls on House Spokeswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to punish Republicans in the House who dared to support the Texas Supreme Court action against the election results.
On Friday, the Supreme Court rejected Texas’s attempt to swing the election in President Donald Trump's favor, saying the lawsuit had "no status under Article III of the Constitution".

Pascrell then wrote a letter to Pelosi saying that Republican lawmakers and Republican congressmen elected should be penalized for supporting the lawsuit. He alleged that the GOP lawmakers were in breach of the constitution in supporting the lawsuit and that they should therefore be sanctioned and removed from Congress.
"The courageous Reconstruction Congress that has been planted in our security documents to purify our government counts all traitors and others who would try to destroy the Union," wrote Pascrell, citing the 14th amendment to the US Constitution.
"Simply put, men and women who would tear the United States government apart cannot serve as members of Congress," he added.
"These lawsuits, aimed at destroying public confidence in our democratic system by invalidating the clear results of the 2020 presidential election, attack the text and spirit of the constitution, which every member swears to support and defend, and violate the rules of our House representatives, which expressly forbid members to commit inappropriate acts that our Chamber badly reflects, "said the Democrat.

As a result, I urge you to use the power of your offices to evaluate the steps you can take to address these Constitutional violations of this Congress and, if possible, the seat of an elected member, making Donald Trump an unelected one Would like to join, in the 117th Congress to reject dictator, “he wrote.
Pascrell went so far as to compare that moment in American history to the Civil War-era partition.
“Emerging from the blaze of the Civil War, the fourteenth amendment was written to prevent the destruction of the United States from outside and inside. The moment we are now facing can have no parallel since 1860. The fate of our democracy depends on our meeting that moment, ”he said.

Pascrell worked overtime defending Joe Biden's alleged victory in the presidential election. Last month he called for Trump and his "enablers" to "be brought to justice" for their crimes against our nation and our constitution.
"Donald Trump and members of his administration have committed countless crimes against the United States," said the Democrat, foolishly claiming that the Trump administration had "committed treason, treason".
"Therefore, the entire Trump administration must be fully investigated by the Justice Department and all other relevant offices in 2021," added Pascrell.
