Half of white students likely live in school districts that have personal classes in their reopening plans. Only a quarter of black and Latin American students do this.

“Winter stands for rest, hibernation and even death. We humans – driven by our demanding work and school schedules – often forget that winter is a time to slow down, but our fellow animals and plants prepare accordingly and allow themselves a time of rest. “

BLAST FROM THE PAST
At Daily Kos that day in 2017– Trump’s excitement about pardoning Flynn is as idiotic as usual:
Here’s an idea: after admitting that you knew your national security adviser lied to the FBI and then asking your FBI director to stop his investigation in order to fire him for failing to do so, you float proposed pardoning the national security advisor, who by now it is common knowledge that she is cooperating with this investigation.
It’s so cumbersome, y only an idiot would do it, right?
When asked if he wanted to pardon former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, Trump said, “I don’t want to talk about pardons for Michael Flynn yet. Lets see what happens.”
Welcome to your Friday installment of Donald Trump’s stupidity. So yes, this raises all sorts of concerns about the power of the president and so on. The fact is, however, that most of the damage Flynn can do to Trump is likely already done, otherwise we probably still wouldn’t even know about Flynn’s plea agreement with the federal authorities first. Former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti portrayed it pretty well in a tweet thread.
“If Flynn is pardoned now,” said Mariotti wrote: “The advantage for Trump is much smaller than it used to be because Flynn Mueller has already told everything he knows. If Flynn accepted a pardon, he couldn’t take the fifth when called to testify. “
