Pennsylvania governor beats up Republicans for turning the GOP right into a Trump magnificence pageant

John Fetterman, Lt. Pennsylvania Governor, who recently announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate, said Tuesday that the Keystone State Republican Party had reached the full MAGA.

Fetterman predicted that GOP hopefuls will climb over each other in the Senate’s upcoming primary race to be the most Trump-like candidate.

“I can almost guarantee you that whoever Republicans nominate for their Senate candidate will be a Trump simp and the primary will just be a beauty pageant that can be the bigger simp to win the primary,” said Fetterman.

“This is the state of affairs here in Pennsylvania in Republican politics to win the primary,” he added.

Fetterman said:

Trump is a cult figure in these small counties in Pennsylvania. And the key to Republican politics in Pennsylvania is this phalanx of small rural counties, about 55. It’s very popular in some of those counties, and when you stack one on top of the other you need – if you get lost in one of those counties, carry over this. So they know they can’t win nationwide. Now I can almost guarantee you that anyone Republicans nominate for their Senate candidate will be a Trump simp and the primary will just be a beauty pageant that can be the bigger simp to win the primary because that is the State of affairs spot here in Pennsylvania in Republican politics to win the primary. Not the general, of course, but the primary.

Pennsylvania voters decided last year to fire Trump

Donald Trump lost Pennsylvania by tens of thousands of votes last November after promoting the state in 2016. In other words, the state’s voters decided to fire him and hire Joe Biden.

It is all the more puzzling that the Republicans in the state are doubling Trumpism, especially after the shamed former president instigated a fatal attack on the US Capitol.

If the GOP appoints a Trumpist, as they would like to, the Democrats have the best chance of securing a seat in Pennsylvania and potentially expanding their Senate majority.
