MP Adam Schiff (D-CA) turned on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) during a CNN appearance on Friday, saying he should “resign” after several women charged him with sexual misconduct.
Ship turns on Cuomo
“I think my colleagues from New York are right,” said Schiff. “It is probably time for him to step down. You are closer to the situation than I am. “
“But I am confident that once they have passed the verdict that he can no longer rule, he will not have the confidence or confidence of New Yorkers to do so, and given the seriousness of the allegations of sexual assault or harassment, then I don’t think he can go on and in the best interests of the New Yorkers he should resign, ”he added. “So, I think you made the right judgment and are able to know.”

AOC also turns on Cuomo
This came after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) teamed up to issue a statement that Cuomo “must resign”.
“After two reports of sexual assault, four reports of harassment, and the attorney general’s investigation into the governor’s administrator hiding nursing home information from lawmakers and the public, we agree with over 55 members of the New York state legislature that the governor should must resign. They said and added that recent sexual misconduct allegations raise “concerns about the current safety and well-being of administrative staff” and rate the allegations as “consistent and very detailed”.
“Unfortunately, the governor is not only faced with charges of engaging in sexual harassment and assault,” wrote Ocasio-Cortez and Bowman, before quoting the Attorney General’s “detailed report” which found that the Cuomo- Government hid data on COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes both in public and in state parliament. “
AOC and Bowman ‘believe these women’
The two Democrats then said that they “believe these women, we believe the reporting, we believe the attorney general, and we believe the fifty-five members of the New York state legislature, including the Senate Majority Leader, who closed that governor, Cuomo may face so.” many challenges no longer effectively lead. “
