Here’s what Psaki had to say in the clip below.
“Well, let me just refute the first point you made. Let me start by saying about Colorado. In Colorado, you can register on election day. Colorado has an email voting system that emails 100% of people in the state who are eligible to email voting. 94% of the people of Colorado voted by mail in the 2020 election. And they also allow for a range of materials that can be provided even if they vote on election day for the limited number of people who will vote on election day. “
Psaki continued, “I think it’s important to remember the context here. Georgian legislation is based on a lie. There was no widespread fraud in the 2020 elections. Georgia’s top Republican electoral officials have repeatedly acknowledged this in interviews. What it did do, however, was a record-breaking turnout, especially among color voters.
What we’re seeing here is for politicians who didn’t like the result. They don’t change their policies to get more votes, they change the rules to keep more voters out. And we certainly see the circumstances differently. But ultimately, it’s up to Major League Baseball to decide where to play their all-star game. “
