Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) got worse when radically liberal documentary filmmaker Michael Moore publicly attacked her after the surge in COVID-19 cases in the state.
He demanded that she “close restaurants, bars and shops” and that children “stay home from school” until cases are brought under control.
Moore turns Whitmer on
“I hate to say that because I voted her governor, but she’s afraid of people who try to do violence to her and who bullied her. The business community – the Chamber of Commerce – that has insisted on reopening it and this has brought tragedy for the state, so I need everyone’s help to put pressure on … Governor Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, to to close things up. “Moore said Monday during an” emergency “episode of his podcast.
“Don’t listen to the business world. Yes, they are losing money. There are programs out there to help them get some of that money back and [for] What they can’t get back should be other programs the Biden administration puts in place to keep these companies from going bankrupt, ”he continued.
“You just have to help me put pressure on the Michigan governor. She is a business-friendly governor, ”added Moore. “She comes from a business family. Her father was a manager. “

Moore wants Whitmer to go further with COVID restrictions
Whitmer has become infamous among many for putting some of the strictest COVID-19 measures in the country in her state, but Moore wants it to go further.
“Michigan governor must shut down the state,” he said. “People have to stay at home. Schools … need to close, just for a little, not long. This is not a long-term thing here. This is right now to try to end this rapid UK variant epidemic in Michigan. “

“Shut down the restaurants, the bars, the shops,” Moore continued. “Guys, stay home just a little. Stay home from school just a little. We made a mistake when we reopened the state of Michigan too early. Stop doing this back and forth, open up [and] nearby, that doesn’t work. “

Moore didn’t stop and warned dramatically of a “three to four year pandemic” of coronavirus if Whitmer doesn’t do what he says.
“It’s critical at the moment. It doesn’t have to happen, ”he said. “We’ll never get through this, my friends. … We have to go back to what we had about this virus in one of my first podcasts in February 2020 [with] The doctors and scientists I have brought in time and time again to tell you over and over that this is not a yearlong pandemic. “
“This is likely a three to four year pandemic. Nobody wants to hear that, and because we didn’t want to hear it, that’s what we end up with, ”he continued.
“Everyone gets your shot. Everyone is wearing masks, ”concluded Moore. “Everyone keeps your social distance. Wash your hands. “
Whitmer has already estranged the Republicans. So if the Liberals start turning against them, the governor’s political career may be dead in the water once it’s all over.
URGENT. Michigan is in its own epidemic tonight. The UK variant is everywhere. 40% of the new Covid cases are young adults between the ages of 20 and 40. My plea this evening: close the state. Send more vaccine. You can help. Listen to my emergency podcast on Apple https://t.co/uFwOFNka9U & Spotify.
