It got weird on ABC talk show “The View” this week when cohost Whoopi Goldberg outrageously claimed that Republicans were “inviting people to test the waters of fascism.”
This segment began with Goldberg’s cohost Joy Behar, who railed against Republicans in her typically bizarre way.
“This was a week full of crazies on the Republican side. Rick Santorum says Native American culture never existed. Lindsey Graham says there is no systemic racism in the United States. And Newt Gingrich says a flag with gay pride is un-American. OK? ”Behar asked, according to The Sun.
“So the question is, what’s going on here?” She added. “They’re not stupid people, not really, but they seem very cynical about a very small denominator out there, whoever these people are who are so in the cult and so in love with Trumpism and so hatred of liberals that they believe everything what these guys are telling them. It’s very un-American. “

“And as an added gesture, there is no Republican position on what to do with the American people,” said Behar. “So that’s a big distraction from the fact that Joe is killing Biden – you know, he’s killing it in the United States because he has fantastic programs and Americans like it.”
“So they’re upset about that too,” she concluded. “It’s just a crazy time we’re in and these people are making it worse.”

“Well, it’s just hearing people try to rewrite history, you know,” she said. “You invite people to test the waters of fascism. That’s what i’m thinking Test the water and see, pretend they’re doing something. “
“You didn’t bring anything to the US. Imagine that it doesn’t exist. Pretend we can all turn around and say it’s them, get them. It’s crazy, but that’s what it feels like to me. “

The fact that these two women have a platform to spit out this nonsense on national television on a daily basis is really insane.
