Liz Cheney assaults Trump once more for a “huge lie” that the election was stolen

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) continued her feud with former President Donald Trump on Monday when she attacked him over the “big lie” that last year’s presidential election was stolen.

Cheney attacks Trump again

Trump posted a statement in his Save America PAC on Monday morning announcing that the presidential election “will be known as THE BIG LIE from that day!” This didn’t go well with Cheney, who shot back on Twitter less than an hour later.

“The 2020 presidential election was not stolen,” Cheney wrote. “Anyone who says so is spreading THE BIG LIE, is turning their back on the rule of law and poisoning our democratic system.”

This comes after Cheney said “it’s important” that Trump doesn’t run again in 2024.

“I don’t think that’s going to happen,” Cheney told the Washington Examiner. “And I think it’s important that it doesn’t happen, given what he’s done.”

While she also said that she “would certainly never vote for a Democrat” and she also stated that she does not think Trump “should be president again”.

Trump closes Cheney

Trump fired back in a separate statement.

“Liz Cheney has sooooo low polls in Wyoming and has sooo little support even from the Wyoming Republican Party that she’s looking for a way out of her congressional race. Based on all the polls, there is no way she can win, “said Trump.

“She will either be another lobbyist or embarrass her family by running for president to save the face,” he added. “This warmongering fool wants to stay in the Middle East and Afghanistan for another 19 years, but does not take into account the big picture – Russia and China!”

Cheney was one of ten Republicans in the House of Representatives who voted to indict Trump for allegedly instigating the Capitol riot in January, a move that got them into the water with many Conservatives.

Trump ‘Beyond Seriously’ is considering running again

To their dismay, Trump has said that he is “not seriously” considering running for the 2024 presidency.

“First, it’s been a long time,” Trump said last month. “The chances, the chances. What are the chances? Look, I have enormous numbers. Nobody ever got the numbers that I have. No seated president has come anywhere near. “

“There’s more popularity now than the day before the election because you see how bad things are on the limit,” he continued. “You see what’s going on. They see their guns will be gone – their second change. Your taxes go up. Regulations go through the roof. Jobs will go up. “
