On Tuesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a law banning some transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports. Florida is the seventh state to pass such a law that prevents biological-born men who identify as female from competing with biological-born women.
Under the new law, a female transgender student would have to confirm her biological gender with evidence such as a birth certificate.
DeSantis signed the bill at Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, where he stated, “In Florida, girls will play girls ‘sports and boys will play boys’ sports. That’s the reality.”
In Florida, we will do the right thing and not be intimidated by pressure from awakened corporations. You won’t dictate Florida politics – not now, never. Florida will be strong and protect sport and women’s opportunities.

The State of Transgender Athletes in Other States
Florida joins Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Mississippi, Tennessee, and West Virginia and bans biological men from competing in women’s sports. In South Dakota, Governor Kristi Noem signed an order banning transgender athletes.
In March, Noem had a chance to pass such a ban, but vetoed what is termed the “style and form” law. Noem said at the time that the wording of the bill would make it easy for organizations like the NCAA to sue.

Ten other states have some kind of transgender ban at various stages of the legislative process.
However, with many state legislatures closing their sessions for the year, some will have to bring new bills to new sessions next year.

DeSantis takes the lead again
It’s easy to see why the populations of places like New York and California are dwindling and Florida is booming. Governor Ron DeSantis has taken the lead on several issues that could be controversial for those unwilling to take them on.
DeSantis recently acquired Big Tech by signing Law SB7072. This law will allow Floridians to sue big tech companies if their posts are censored and impose heavy fines on tech companies who ban elected officials from their platforms.
While the bill was being signed, things got a little tricky with a reporter who asked DeSantis if he was doing “Trump’s commandments.”
DeSantis received a standing ovation from the audience when he replied, “But I think that’s another issue that comes up: if you dismiss the President of the United States from the platform but let Ayatollah Khomeini speak about the killing of Jews, that’s wrong. “
Florida’s Big Tech Bill is for everyday Floridians. We know there is a problem with BIG TECH DEPLATFORMING THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, but they let AYATOLLAH KHAMENEI TALK ABOUT KILLING JEWS – THIS IS WRONG!

DeSantis also recently signed SB90 to reinforce the integrity of future elections in the Sunshine State.
The bill includes restrictions on the use of mailboxes, restrictions on placement, and the ability to cast ballots. The law would also prohibit the automatic extension of postal voting requests and additional identification requirements for receiving a postal vote.
DeSantis also recently signed a bill increasing penalties for crimes committed during civil unrest and banning the use of COVID-19 vaccine passports.
DeSantis does a great job articulating why female athletes shouldn’t be forced to compete with biological men in sports … and has the backbone to stare at the mob that has woken up. Https://t.co/GVVT7rbaoo

DeSantis is not afraid of the ‘Woke Mob’
In a very candid interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on Tuesday, DeSantis insisted not to bow down to cancel the culture and give in to awaken companies.
“You can’t be intimidated by these organizations, but especially by bright corporations that are doing the right thing. So my view all this time has been that we need to protect our girls. Forcing them to compete with biological males is discriminatory. “
DeSantis then sent a clear message to the NCAA: “The price of a tournament is to deny equal opportunities to hundreds of thousands of young girls and women across Florida – I’m far more willing to stand with the girls and hell.” with these events. “
