During the January 6 uprising, a QAnon supporter named Ashli Babbitt attempted to break a barricade in the United States Capitol. The policeman who shot her was acquitted of any wrongdoing.
Still, Republicans have now portrayed women as some sort of martyr. Donald Trump recently called her a “wonderful and innocent woman”. Rudy Giuliani went even further on Monday evening and said there was a conspiracy behind her death.
Newmax presenter Greg Kelly asked: “How do you justify not informing the public of the basic facts of this moment? “
The former New York City Mayor replied:
“Because this was a completely wrong operation. They tried to turn this unfortunate transgression, which should not have happened, into a riot. Well, first of all, this is the only direction that was not shot. The only shot is the policeman’s shot at an unarmed woman they don’t want to talk about. So there’s a whole story behind it, and I’m not sure I understand all of this. But how is it that this thing all shows up in a video recorded by a CNN-paid Antifa member? And he happens to be there when the shot is fired, and he happens to know where the gun is. And the police are not interested in that? “

It’s no surprise that Giuliani, who is being investigated by New York and sued by voting machine companies, is ready to make wild allegations like this one. Apparently he has nothing more to lose.
