For a year now, Dr. Anthony Fauci at House and Senate hearings on COVID. And during that time, the world-famous immunologist kept his mouth shut when attacked by Republican lawmakers.
On Tuesday, he finally collapsed and exploded against Kentucky Senator and world-class troll Rand Paul. While speaking about the incident, Neil Cavuto praised Fauci, saying that criticizing him was not constructive.
The Fox presenter told his audience:
“He’s been denigrated to the point that you might think he’s Lex Luthor. I don’t know how productive that is. I understand what may have been overlooked and the source of it all. But to make him the target of attacks, I think much of it has to go back to his departure from then-former President Donald Trump. But whatever is behind it, I don’t see it as constructive. “

Cavuto’s guest, Dr. Bob Lahita, agreed, noting: “He’s an excellent person, an excellent doctor. I’ve known him as a doctor since, gee, I guess it was about 40 years or more. So I find it regrettable that we have to attack someone who plays such an important role in our society. “
“Basically,” said Cavuto, “he’s a good man and a good doctor.”
Fauci has apparently been scapegoated by Republican lawmakers and personalities who want to protect Donald Trump. It was nice to see him defended on Fox News once.
