False “Racial Justice” group tries to scare suburban white folks … however uncovered as an alternative

The Dallas Observer:

Little public information is available about Dallas Justice Now or its guidance. The group did not respond to the observer‘s inquires, but the group’s website goes to a right-wing PR firm called. return arena. Arena also connects online research with Keep Dallas safe, an organization run by a confirmed Astroturfer, suggesting that there may be deeper links between these funder and strategy efforts.

One of local anti-fascists whoever combed the site’s history told the observer that she “notices” [Dallas Justice Now] had backdated blog posts from before their website launched, so we started looking through their posts. ”(The researcher asked to remain anonymous.)

It wasn’t long before researchers found the source code leading back to Arena in an archived version of the Dallas Justice Now website. From there, they found a server that displayed several similar test pages, including one for Keep Dallas Safe.

Damn. That’s shabby, isn’t it? Yes, what we really need in this country are more courageous patriots willing to smuggle napalm into our country’s long-smoldering racial tire fire.

And there’s more (alleged) smut on this bevy of (allegedly) greasy Astro Smurfs (to see the rolled out version of attorney Geoff Bowser’s thread below, click here).

This email address supposedly belongs to a Michele Washington. As indicated in the group’s press release: https://t.co/eyNA0PfjNF 2/17

Bowser went in search of the only person publicly associated with the group, Michele Washington.

This is an interesting Facebook page. There is no picture of the person at all. Your background is an artist rendering of a James Baldwin quote and the profile picture is a heart.

Also, they don’t give any verifiable details, they’re not hidden, they’re just not there. 4/17

Then Bowser went looking for more information about the group responsible for the flyers.

Other evidence to support the conclusion that this is bogus I searched both taxable and exempt companies in Dallas Justice Now and got no result. 6/17

Oh oh!

It appears they had a previous website that may have been set up just before the last election: https://t.co/Bk4zvjuakK

The main problem was defining the police. 8/17

Next, Bowser looked for previous media coverage of the group and found a very unlikely “journalist”.

Interestingly, there were two main stories about Dallas Justice Now, both written by Juliette Fairley for the Dallas City Wire. Julliet Fairley wrote extensively for News Max: https://t.co/GI9uwpApgS 10/17

Bowser followed the trail to the website on which Fairley published her “Journalism”.

Given all of this about Juliet Fairley, it’s interesting that the current Dallas Justice website says, “Thank you Juliette Fairley for posting for justice!” https://t.co/YjEok8Ryrp 12/17

The 2nd was the one about the promise: https://t.co/21y572kRTB

For some reason, even though it was created three days ago, it is still in the top left of the Dallas City Wire home page. 14/17

I obviously haven’t spotted a real smoking gun, but the evidence I’ve shared strongly suggests this is an astroturfing strategy designed to make BLM activists look bad. 16/17

– Geoff Bowser (@geoffreybowser) July 26, 2021

As a final note, senselessly inflammatory language is used in the pledge itself, such as “Don’t be a racist hypocrite” and “Dallas Justice Now will publicly disclose the names of those who and did not sign the pledge.”

This is a strange way of getting people to sign. 17/17

Needless to say, right-wing media clung to this story like a pair of Putin branded nipple clamps on Donald John Trump’s inglorious sauced breasts. The story surfaced in PJ Media, The Daily Mail, and Tucker Carlson Tonight, among others, as fact-checking is apparently for left-wing cucks.

They had to believe that months after the pandemic, a BLM-type group formed and … rented office space!

The right machine wants the whites to be very scared. Very, very scared … and angry.

Conservatives know how triggering it is for whites to sneak into institutions that were once forbidden to them, and especially when they demand equal access. There was a whole black president, they complain, and now there are even BIPOC superheroes. Now do you want to go to Ivy League colleges? Slow it down folks. Perhaps everyone else can board after another generation of Kushners paint the hallowed halls of Harvard with Coors Light and devastating mediocrity.

Perhaps.

It made comedians Sarah Silverman say “That’s damn awesome” and invited author Stephen King to shout “Pulitzer Prize !!!” (that is, on Twitter). What is it?
