Rudy Giuliani said he was ready to go to jail for Trump, but at the same time declared his innocence.
Giuliani told NBC New York:
“I haven’t committed a crime and if you think I have committed a crime you are probably really stupid because you don’t know who I am,” Giuliani said as an investigation emerges as to whether he is an unregistered lobbyist for Ukrainians Officer.
He said he was working as his lawyer for then-President Donald Trump at the time.
“I am more than ready to go to jail if they want to put me in jail. And if they do, they will face the consequences in heaven, ”he said. “I’m not, I didn’t do anything wrong.”
When asked why he would be willing to go to jail if he is not guilty, Giuliani replied: “Because you lie, you cheat.”
Rudy Giuliani’s interview was a mixture of arrogance and mental scrambled eggs
Rudy Giuliani is not a young person. If he goes to jail and then hopes Trump will return to the White House and release him in 2025, it’s a terrible risk.
Giuliani’s defense appears to be that he used to be famous for his crime fighting, so any criminal act he may have committed doesn’t count.
Oh, and the FBI lies and cheats and wants to get him.
The FBI leaked information about the Clinton email investigation to Guiliani in 2016
The FBI’s New York office leaked information about Hillary Clinton’s email investigation into Giuliani in 2016. So the FBI wasn’t corrupt when trying to make Trump an election, but it’s corrupt when investigating Rudy Giuliani.
There is ample evidence that Rudy Giuliani committed crimes and his fame is unlikely to save him from jail.
