Republicans were reminded of how stupid their opposition to masking is when vaccinated Senator Lindsey Graham tests positive for COVID.
Senator Graham tweeted:
I feel like I have a sinus infection and am currently experiencing mild symptoms.
I’ll be in quarantine for ten days.
I am very happy that I was vaccinated, because without it I wouldn’t feel as good as I do now.
My symptoms would be much worse.

Graham said something positive about the vaccine, so that’s good, but he walked around without a mask and caught the Delta variant.
A few days ago, the Republicans of Congress protested on the steps of the Capitol against the reinstatement of masked mandates in the House and Senate.
The mask mandates are common sense, especially since 100% of Democrats in Congress are vaccinated, but about half of Republicans are.
Congress is like the rest of the country. Responsible and vaccinated people are forced to take responsibility for selfish people who refuse to do their part to protect those around them.
Senator Graham was right. Without a vaccination he would be in much worse shape now, but now he has to speak to members of his own party about putting an end to their anti-mask idiocy.
